The 92X Centurion takes the proven reliability of the venerable M9 Family to the next level. Incorporating universal ergonomic features such as a standard straight backstrap profile frame with flat and wraparound highly textured grips included to fit the majority of shooters needs out of the box. These features, combined with Combat Sights, enhanced fire control, and an extended magazine release result in an uncompromising pistol that aims for top performance ideal for competitive dynamic shooting and/or defensive purposes. Red Dot Optics Ready.

The Beretta 92X RDO model is an excellent platform. The best change to this platform is the trigger performance in both SA/DA and the reset for follow-up shots. This weapon comes the closest of any hammer fired platform straight out of the box, without having to send it to a custom shop for tuning and adjustment. The spring work done gives a smooth and light DA trigger pull, and the single action stilll has a little takeup, but is crisp and super light. The reset is phoenominal, with barely a 1/4" movement to trigger reset. Audible and positive reset, and follow-up shots are easily achieved.
Where Beretta needs to step it up is there optic ready plates. These weapons still do not ship with optic plates in the box, and I have been on a waiting list for my plate now for several weeks and no information or follow-up from Beretta. My take on this is if you sell an optic ready pistol, you should have the plates available with the product. Would have given this product 5 stars had that been the case.
