I was never a big fan of the grip module of this gun. BUT there are so many options now. I saw the original as having a lot in the trunk. Then I saw some Youtube creators vision of this with the Polymer 80 grip as well as different rails you could switch in and out of, It was like the little black dress of pistoles, and it looked great dressed up for an evening out or dressed down for a day on the trail. so many options.
Function; My first range day had a few fail to feed but could be break in/ plus I was shooting back and forth from a 365 to the 320 I am embarrassed to say I may have limp wristed those shots. I have no regrets on the purchase
Having owned many different handguns in my life, I never had the opportunity to handle a Sig. A friend of mine who I have a great deal of respect for told me he only used Sig. He is an engineer working for the military. He knows weapons and when I ran across this deal, I decided to see what all the talk was about.
I ordered it and started looking at YouTube videos comparing the Sig P320 to many other handguns and learned about the old trigger and the drop issues where the gun discharged un-commanded. When it arrived, I took it apart to see if it had the new system and trigger. It does, so I don't have to worry about the drop issue.
Once I put it back together I held it and realized that the reviews were true - this gun just fits your hand! I am the king of right handed people because I can't do anything with my left hand. But this gun felt so good that I tried it in my left hand and was wowed! I think I could shoot this gun with my left hand.
The trigger pull is magnificent! I have never felt anything like it - it is what a trigger should be. The pull is SHORT and smooth. Place the sight on your target and squeeze - Pop! Smooth as butter and you stay right there on target with little effort. If you have good technique, this gun will do exactly what it is told to do.
The finish is awesome too. I can't stop looking at it and picking it up.
I highly recommend this gun. The feel of the handle, trigger pull, and the finish will not disappoint you. The trigger pull is worth the price of admission.
I am now a Sig owner. I'll keep my other guns just to remind me just how good my Sig is. :)
