Beretta's 3032 Tomcat with a tip-up barrel design that allows the user to load the chamber without slide retraction. The Covert model includes a factory threaded barrel with a thread cap, 1/2x28 thread suppressor intended for use with a .22 caliber projectile, a Bruniton finished slide and barrel along with high-grade walnut grips, recessed magazine release and fixed low-profile sights.

If you have to have a 32 acp for some reason - I guess this one should make the short list. It will be a short list either way if you're looking for a 32. As you know 25 and 32 have been trying to die for many decades. This is an old school fairly bulky, heavy design based on the 1950s Jetfire. The grip feels large enough to be a double stack nine. There are none of today's extras we've grown used to. The big negative is that this pistol has not kept up with advances and higher pressures of modern ammunition. Mine came with a separate 3x5 card stating that no ammunition that generates over 130 foot pounds at the muzzle can be used without causing damage. How weak is that? For comparison basic .380 ball ammo is at 200. 9mm is around 400. The card lists three specific offerings that are still weak enough to use. If in doubt, you'll need to check the box. +P is out obviously out. Some, maybe most, defensive ammo will be out. Typical damage caused is a cracked frame. Regarding the tilt up barrel being good for weak or small hands that can't rack a slide - I personally think it's far more difficult to move the lever to tilt up the barrel than it is to pull back on the slide. For me, this is just a backyard plinker that shoots, hard to find, expensive, relatively weak ammo. Fit and finish is poor compared to Berettas from Italy. The finish on mine came rubbed shinny in various places - I assume from assembly. You would think mine has a slide lock - as it sticks open until bumped home. This may fix it's self once I have a few more rounds through it.
