The NAA Mini-Revolver .22 Short runs in limited production each year to make the world's smallest and lightest five-shot at just 4 oz unloaded. Using the half-way notch cylinder, the hammer may rest safely and securely without chance of accidental discharge. This 22 Short has rosewood grips.

I'd never seen the 22 Short version of this in person. I just assumed the grip would be the same size as the 22 Mag version that I have - only the cylinder would be shorter. Now that I have this one, the rest of the frame looks to be the same size except for the top strap being shorter and the birds head grip being a lot smaller. All this is fine. It's just fyi on the very small grip. My only gripe would be the wooden grips on mine are not cut to the same dimensions as the frame. They are cut narrower and longer. This means they don't cover up all of the back strap where they should and they stick out below the bottom of the pistol grip where they shouldn't. Not by much but definitely by enough that it's the first thing I noticed. Just millimeters off. I can always buy new grips - it's not a big deal. It would be, if I was going to shoot it regularly. However, I bought this not to shoot. Because what would I shoot it at? I give it 5 stars for what it is. As far as I know - it's the smallest, affordable, production pistol actually in production today. GZD did an excellent job - as always.
