Compact and lightweight, the LCP MAX continues to be the definitive pocket-sized personal protection pistol. A textured grip frame provides a secure and comfortable grip, while its slide features raised cocking ears and functional serrations for easy manipulation. Slide and frame surfaces and edges are soft and smooth for comfortable carry and handling. The tritium front sight with white outline makes for fast acquisition in all light conditions and rear sight features a generous u-notch for easy alignment. Its patented barrel cam geometry delays unlocking, slows the slide, and ultimately reduces felt recoil compared to other .380 Auto pistols. The LCP Max fits most existing LCP II holsters. Included is one, 10-round magazine; soft pocket holster; magazine loader.

excellent service fast shipping thanks
To begin with, many thanks to GunZoneDeals for offering this item at a "very" competitive price, quick shipping and email correspondence that keeps the customer informed every step of the way. Too bad other vendors do not take your lead!
Item arrived in pristine condition. It was highly finished with no burrs, no bluing imperfections, was perfectly machined and is the "perfect" size for pocket carry whether wearing sweat pants, shorts, jeans, dress slacks, etc. The extra capacity over the LCP 2 (4 extra rounds), while maintaining the same size and weight as the LCP 2 is outstanding! An 12 round magazine is also offered for this model that extends the handle by only 1/2".
The LCP Max has a "re-timed" breach cam that softens the felt recoil when being fired and a slightly re-worked trigger that I really like. Have read where some complain about a slight finger-pinch when resetting trigger. I have rather large hands and my finger is only slightly pinched if I consciously wrap my finger around the top of the trigger. In normal shooting, this has never occurred nor is it a concern. I found my LCP Max to be reliable (no jams, etc. after 400 rounds of FMJ and HP rounds). As far as accuracy, from a sand bag I can consistently hit a 6 inch target from 25 yards made possible due to the new green tritium white outlined front sight and the improved U notched rear sight. Take down and cleaning is a breeze and the black oxide finish appears durable.
In closing, many pundits will crucify the .380 as being underpowered as an CCW. I have 9mm's, .40S&W's, etc. but they all required a cumbersome holster (either inner waistband or outer) due to resultant extra size/weight to handle a more powerful cartridge, and I find them very uncomfortable to wear all day. I would rather carry a smaller caliber EVERYDAY in my pocket than a larger caliber that is carried intermittently. As the experts say: "The very best gun in the world is... the one you have when you need one"! This little gem could very well be my favorite and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to feel more secure in today's crime ridden world.
Everything that I had hoped that it would be.
Very sweet Ruger 380, 10rd Mag, and optional 12rd Mag, can't be beat. And the best price around from Gunzonedeals. Thank You guys again
My preference is for larger caliber but a small concealed carry is required, especially at 5’6” 145lbs. The Sig P238 was my ‘go to’ for accuracy. The Ruger 380 Max nearly matches this in accuracy (1” at 7yds). Now it beats it for size, ease to carry all day and capacity. The only real issue is grip control and general discomfort during long rounds of practice. Be prepared.
Today I ran 300 rds at the range and performance was impressive. It does have a sharp angle cut that can tend pinch the top of your finger during trigger reset. To help this I modified the under frame by rounding it w a dremel. All in all it is a major improvement over the 380 LCP.
