I bought multiple from Gunzonedeals as they offered the best price even after shipping compares to competitors.
The M&P9 M2.0 threaded barrel/optic ready is an excellent choice(not just based on Garand Thumb video lol).
The trigger out of the box is a bit spongy, mushy and gritty but becomes very smooth and crisp after some dry firing.
The trigger is better than the Glock and especifically better than the FN509T , which I have found to change the point of view and point of aim from a snappy trigger break between the time the trigger is pulled until the overtravel stops. Whether the M2.0 trigger has a very positive wall but once the trigger breaks, it's so light and smooth that does not affect your point of aim at all.
The cost only attributes to how awesome of a pistol it is. With shipping and local transfer, it came out to be less than $575 and once Rebate kicks in, that would make a threaded barrel and optic ready reliable pistol under $500.
But in all honesty, I have to mention their flaws as well:
The slide and frame has some horizontal play in it. It sways side to side about 1/8 or so of an inch. That could very well translate into inconsistent accuracy issue. I will have to contact S&W or read more into it.
Also, at this DNA and we're still offered 17rd magazines is somewhat lacking when competitions provide you with 20rd+ magazine out the door, and the aftermarket cost for extended magazine options does bring some value down.
But between the goods and bads, this little pistol still offers a lot value.
I would highly recommend it.
